Yes, my 2a is Borges inspired. I figure that's right around when he was getting a second wind and writing some of his stuff I like the most, and maybe he would like to be friends with someone who does finger puppets. Maybe. Hopefully I'm not taking too much of a liberty in assuming being reincarnated doesn't have to follow normal human time sequentiality.

I've long thought that reincarnation wouldn't follow the human conception of linear time. Rock on.
