1. I am still on the fence on this one. I did it last year, which was the first year at my house, and that went fairly well. My sister's dog is very friendly, but does not like it when she can't get to people so if no one else is around it's kind of hard to hold the dog back and hand out candy. I didn't particularly have fun doing it, and some older kids with grabby hands that came late sort of left a bad taste. But, it's not about me having fun, it's about all the good little pagans celebrating...

2. Those who climb trees, and those who fly airplanes.

3. When I first read this post I started singing a song in my head with the words, "Do you-have a song run-ning through-your head?" but I can't concentrate on it enough to pick out the tune.

1. No. There aren't any kids in my building, and kids from the outside can't get in, 'cause we lock the doors. Ha.

2. There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who divide the world into two kinds of people, and those who don't.

3. I do indeed. That song is "Maureen," by Fountains of Wayne.

Oh, wait: now I've got the Beach Boys' "Sloop John B" running around in there.

I love that song.

1. No, because I'm not in a particularly good mood of late. Also, I'll eat all of it.

2. People who like to sit and people who like to move. People can change these groups moment by moment or stay in a group for years.

3. Not at present, but lately--'splain this--"Caribbean Queen" by Billy Ocean gets stuck in my head whenever I take a shower.

2b. Besides the Mover/Sitters distinction, we can divide people between "those who accept free food as if by compulsion", or Eaters; and "those who seldom or never accept free food," or Resisters.

It's fortunate then that I am a Mover/Eater, because people who fall into the Sitter/Eater Quadrant are pretty screwed, as can be the Mover/Resisters, who are often hungry and irritable.
