Things I Like That I Know I Shouldn't: A Tribute to Questionable Taste
Seeing as how I'm already alone in liking the Willy Wonka subplot, what have I got to lose?
1. Mayonnaise. I really, really like mayonnaise.
2. Owen Wilson
3. Rock Star: INXS
4. The occasional Nora Roberts novel
5. Malted milk balls

Wait a minute: why shouldn't you like Owen Wilson? There's nothing wrong with Owen Wilson. And when he's in a good picture, like "The Royal Tenenbaums" or "Wedding Crashers," he's a real treat.
Be ashamed of the Nora Roberts thing, sure. But no guilt required on O.W.
It's not a matter of feeling ashamed; it's that it seems Mr. Wilson inspires a love-or-hate reaction, much like the Wonka subplot. Same with mayo, Ms. Roberts, Rock Star...
But thanks for the support. :)
The post's title was what implied shame to me. You indicated that you shouldn't like Mr. Wilson but do anyway. Glad I was wrong, though.
Ah yes, I see just what you mean. I suppose I was indicating that I suspected others might find my taste questionable. For example, until just this week I had no idea that large sections of our great nation find my beloved mayonnaise to be completely disgusting.
Thanks if you deleted that spam comment, btw.
I prefer CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH-ing them.
Thanks for the introduction, Em. (and for the warning)
Ann, have you tried refrigerating malt balls in the summer? It's just the thing. They get extra crunchy and delicious.
