1. I think the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction would be nice, even though its value has been compromised by the crap they've been awarding it to increasingly lately.
2. I don't know the name of the road, or the route number, which is what it goes by, but it's the road that goes up the eastern side of Vermont, basically parallel to I-91. It's what people used before there was a highway. In particular I like the stretch between Putney and Bellows Falls.
3. I tried mahi-mahi on Saturday night, at a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was unpleasant.
1. Hmm . . . the Nobel Peace Prize would be good. I'd settle for the Pulitzer, though. 2. Two of them: the road that runs along the lake, in Lakeside, MI, preferably in May when everything's in bloom, and a road that runs (ran?) along the creek in Phillipsburg, NJ. 3. I don't know; I'm pretty omnivorous already, so I can't think of anything new. I suppose maki rolls, but they didn't have anything in them I hadn't already eaten in some other venue. Burdock root, I guess, which was okay, and some kind of marinated gourd, also okay. (I order the burdock occasionally.)

1. People's Sexiest Woman of the Year
2. The almost-home stretch of road; the one at which I say, "Aaaah...almost home."
3. Foie gras. it was very good, but I wouldn't eat it every day.

You're right, Lah: getting into graduate school is not an award. Now answer the question. :)
