Rest, liquids, and novels have always been my sure-fire cure.

On a different note, i went to see my acupuncturist this morning, and we were chatting about differences between different systems of classifying food. What I'd love to see someone do--if it hasn't already been done--is a comparison of ayurvedic, TCM, and Shiatsu food classification. Any other medical system is a welcome addition, too. But I think it would be interesting to find the overlaps and the conflicts (just as the meridians and the nadis don't all overlap, I think). I suspect there'd be an interesting anthropological bent to it, too, as there are probably genetic differences and tendencies in the ability to process foods.

Anyway, feel better, k?
carlaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
